We're rarely moved by Argentinean Malbec, but this beauty- just released in 2022- makes a first impression that suggests Bordeaux rather than the jammy, cloying, high-alcohol thing that these wines can sometimes be. Cassis, blackberry and a judicious grating of hard spice all come into play here in a wine that drinks well now and suggests a long life ahead.
