A beautiful, balanced and perfectly mature Barbaresco (the vineyard of Balin is the star of Moccagatta's portfolio) that features notes of roasted game, grated hard spice and a touch of burnt sugar. Still excellent structure and acidity, leaving us thinking it will hold at this level for another 5-7 years. Superb! Tasted in October, 2020.
