The twentysomething Giulia Negri is one of Piemonte's unlikely new star vintners, having taken over the family estate in its entirety at the tender age of 24. However, she's immediately established herself as a great interpreter of the terroir of the cru Serradenari (the highest altitude of all the Barolo crus at 528 meters!), producing wines with the refinement, subtle spice and balance that one might expect at this altitude. This will be an estate to watch for years to come, and its wines are no longer a secret, thanks to Stanley Tucci's Searching for Italy! Organic.
