The fanatical and meticulous Bérêche brothers have fashioned terrific 2015 vintage Grand Crus, and the Ambonnay, a high elevation Montagne de Reims Pinot Noir, might be the best. The usual Bérêche regimen applies here: vat fermentation, extended barrel aging of the vin clair, no filtration and second fermentation under cork seal, not cap. A commanding and expressive wine that should be served in a larger white wine glass (not flutes!). 100% Pinot Noir.
