The 50 year old Chardonnay vines of the terroir Beaux Regards- which lie within the Montagne de Reims premier cru of Ludes- provide a vintage Blanc de Blancs of unusual complexity and completeness. Barrel fermentation of the base wines, lees aging, second fermentation under cork and a 36 month aging period sur latte have yielded one of the highlights of the miniscule- but lovely- 2019 vintage.
