This extraordinary Lemberger (aka Blaufränkisch) hails from the estate vineyard named after partner Kit Kalfs' dad, Jacob Thomas. Amazingly, this fresh, spicy and impeccably balanced red is a "third leaf" wine, meaning that the vines, planted in 2018, were at the age of three, when vinifera varieties almost magically give fruit that will often foreshadow the quality of the vines at maturity.
