As always, this is sourced from nine minuscule villages-level parcels within Chambolle and has always represented both good value and a sort of primer into the essence of the appellation. I'm not a big fan of describing Burgundy in terms of "feminine" and "masculine", but this is an unmistakably feminine, aromatic wine with the same structure and amplitude that mark the more masculine surrounding crus of Morey (to the south) and Gevrey (to the north).
