De Pouy is the original modern-style Gascon white, and it still offers great price/value rapport versus entry-level Bordeaux Blancs just to the north. Great for a Tuesday night, great for entertaining a crowd, this is a useful wine for laying in by the case. Dry, fresh, pleasingly tart and uncommonly good with a wide array of foods.
