Oregon newcomer Golden Cluster has dedicated itself to pursuing the expression of old-vine, Coury clone grapes (of all varieties) wherever they find them in Oregon. And they've hit pay dirt in this patch of 45 year-old Sémillon that shows the waxy, lanolin-like, floral and citric elements that make this grape so compelling when done properly. The richness and exotic qualities almost hide the fact that this wine is massively structured and should age incredibly well. Sustainable.
