We've always thought Leeuwin's Art Series Shiraz was one of Australia's finest...and it's definitely the best of all the Margaret River Shiraz. It's far fresher and lower in alcohol than the power bombs that come from the other side of the continent, and the price is an absolute bargain, given the incredible inflation in the other Art Series wines that issue from Leeuwin. We'd have no hesitation putting this next to the very best from either the northern Rhône or California!
