Seb Hardy is the rarest of winegrowers: he succeeds at both cold-climate and warm-climate viticulture. He and his wife, Colleen, split their year between South Australia and the Finger Lakes, crafting wines that are both cutting edge and perfectly expressive of each unique location. The Golden Fields White Blend is a fresh, lifted (yet perfectly balanced) tangle of Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Traminette that manages to masterfully walk the tightrope between subtlety and over-the-top. We wouldn't hesitate to serve this next to a great Edelzwicker from Alsace.
