
The idiosyncratic Michel Ampeau finally gave the green light in 2020 to the release of this spectacular 2002 Combettes. As one might expect from his cold, cavernous cellars underneath Meursault's Rue du Cromin, the wine is amazingly youthful and needs a bit of aeration and time to show its classic Puligny aromas and flavors of a variety of citrus fruits and fine, chiseled minerality.
