
Proprietors Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr would be the last to push the point, but the excellence of their wines is directly attributable to the subtlety, tension and refinement gained by harvesting early, at the point of ripeness at which there's still a bit of snap to the grape. And the result in a prodigious vintage such as 2018 is a wine that is more Burgundian than many of its Burgundian brethren. Go figure.
