This sleeper biodynamic estate is beginning to turn heads as a top value source for dry Chenin Blanc. Their "Arcane" cuvée- sourced from the property's younger vines, planted to a knoll of classic Loire silex and clay- mixes the flowers-and-melon nose and flavors of Chenin with the typical Saumur mineral pop to produce a full-bodied, intense wine that demands cellaring in top vintages. However, we don't have the discipline to resist its obvious youthful charms, so drinking it now is hardly a sin.
