
100% Grecanico, from the province around Siracusa. A 13-hour maceration imparts color and body, although we wouldn't call this an all-out orange wine; fermentation is by indigenous yeast, the wine rests in concrete for six months and is then bottled with no fining, filtration or excessive sulfur. The result is a sunny, energetic Sicilian white with aromas and flavors of mandarins and almond. Organic.
