The four winemaking friends loosely banded together under the Envínate (literally translated: wine yourself) label have taken the wine world by storm with their bold and pure, zero-to-minimal intervention wines from Ribeira Sacra, Extreamdura and the Canary Islands. Here at TFWR, we tend to prefer their Canary Island wines, and this beautiful Listán Negro hails from a single volcanic vineyard at high altitude. Raspberry, wildflowers, hot sand and persistent minerality feature here in a wine that serves as a great introduction to this untamed island.
