Josko Gravner and his palette of exquisite orange wines are best exemplified by the Ribolla Gialla that issues from his Oslavia vineyards. Like all Gravner's orange wines, it's spontaneously fermented in amphorae after a maceration of five months, then spends another six years in barrel. At the end, what goes into bottle can best be described as an elixir, featuring aromas and flavors of apricot, peach, wildflowers, subtle herbs and anise. Exquisite!
