Ampeau's 2002 Santenots, a Meursault-adjacent cru, shows incredible finesse and grace. However, don't be fooled into thinking it's light or on the backside of life; there's a cranberry snap of sappy vigor, backed up by sweet notes of roasted beetroot. There's also the typical Ampeau intensity here, and we expect this wine to drink well for another generation. Wine arrives between mid-November and mid-December.
