
At a mere 1.7g/L residual sugar, most wineries would label this Riesling as dry. However, when compared to Weis' dry version, the Semi-Dry does come across as a tad richer and more complete. What's not in doubt here is that Hans Peter Weis has distilled his winemaking experiences from both his hometown of Zell (on Germany's Mosel River) and in the Finger Lakes to fashion a lineup of crisp, laser-focused wines that represent outsized value.
