Here's a Pinot Noir that won't break the bank from superstar grower Philippe Jouan. It carries the Coteaux Bourguignons designation as it's from a plot well below the main road, but its lovingly-tended 40 year-old vines and Philippe's knowhow turn it all into a wine with plummy, spicy, cherry qualities and just a hint of Burgundian spice. Don't sleep on this wonderful and traditional Burgundy!
