“Barrel-fermented” and “airborne yeasts” aren’t really adequate phrases for describing the latest Chardonnay masterpiece from Ben Riccardi. There's also a hint of matchstick reduction, giving it a bit of Burgundian character we don't often encounter in FLX Chardonnay. You can have a glass of this for $19 at Jean-Georges in NYC...or stop by the store and grab an entire bottle for $27! And if you can squirrel away a bottle or two, you'll find in a few years that this is one of the most ageworthy Chardonnays made anywhere in America!
