Adam Tolmach’s entry-level Chardonnay is always a study in cool-climate expression, and in 2024, the grapes come 70% from Yellow Foxtrot, a vineyard close to the Pacific Ocean near Lompoc and 30% from Strange Family Vineyards in the western Sta. Rita Hills.
What never changes are the restraint, purity and incisive nature of this wine, which is our perennial favorite among California’s top Chardonnays.
