This lovely whole cluster-fermented Cabernet Franc is from a plot planted in 1981, and there's plenty of nicely concentrated raspberry fruit on the nose and palate. The pyrazenes (the compound that gives Cab Franc its "green" quality) express themselves here as cedar and pipe tobacco...quite attractive indeed. 138 cases produced; sustainable farming.
