Pineau des Charentes is our "guilty pleasure" aperitif wine at TFWR. It's nothing more than Ugni Blanc grape juice, fortified with exquisite Normandin-Mercier Cognac and aged in barrel four years...but as many simple French things are, what's in the glass is anything but simple. Unique and wonderful!
