We have a soft spot for Prieuré-Lichine, as it encompasses everything we love about Margaux in an approachable, reasonably-priced format. There's plenty of blue-black fruit- undoubtedly from the proper infusion of Petit Verdot that really defines this commune- married to overtones of tobacco, cassis, cedar chest and herbs. The 2016 is just entering its phase of drinkability and simply begs for a spot at holiday meals or as a special gift.
