Guillaume Quenard now oversees this wonderful family domaine that's situated in one of the warmer villages of the Savoie, Chignin. Although this wine is immediately identifiable as Gamay, it's Gamay "Chignin style", meaning that it's got a core of nervy minerality (from the limestone scree soils in Quenard's sloping vineyards) and an Alpine sort of succulence. Sustainably farmed.
