Morgon specialist Jean-Marc Burgaud's top cuvée is always his majestic, Burgundian Côte du Py, and 2023 is no exception. It's very typically muscular and dark (as a great Côte du Py should be!), with plenty of mineral complexity, spice and a persistent blood orange quality to the fruit. The usual suspects in the wine press have heaped glowing praise upon this wine- and we only received one case- so be forewarned! Organic viticulture.
