This outstanding Santenots, a Meursault-adjacent cru, shows incredible finesse and grace, set into relief by the impeccable structure and massive amount of dry extract for which the 2005 vintage is rightly famed. There's a cranberry snap of sappy vigor, backed up by sweet notes of roasted beetroot and the aforementioned 2005 intensity that leads us to expect this wine to drink well for another generation.
