The Chardonnay vines of the Grand Cru terroir Cramant- the pinnacle of all the Côte des Blancs vineyards in the eyes of many- provide a vintage Blanc de Blancs of unusual complexity and completeness. Barrel fermentation of the base wines, lees aging and second fermentation under cork all contribute to a bracing and surprisingly structured wine that can easily handle long-term aging.
