We love this tiny Loire Valley appellation, where the Chenin Blanc's expression is exotic fruits (think guava and papaya), offset by a flinty, spicy, almost smoky minerality. Javier's Cuvée Sainte Narcisse features a bit of residual sugar, but the acidity is so massive that the sweetness is barely perceptible. This would be great as an aperitif or accompanying a simple sauté of top-quality scallops, shrimp or crayfish. Sustainable farming.
