Evan and Sarah Martin's under-the-radar Oregon winery excels in all things Burgundian...including this exceptional and authentic Gamay (Beaujolais clone 284, to be exact). The fermentations are mostly carbonic and whole-cluster/partial carbonic, and the finished wine is both high-toned and packed with potential for further development with aging. As the growing seasons in Oregon become progressively hotter, we've found that Gamay often endures the heat better than Pinot Noir, and this wine is an excellent example!
