The Zanotelli family estate is the diametric opposite of the Alto Adige's giant wine factories, turning out a scant 8,000 cases a year (only 10% of their production comes to the US!) of all the major regional grape varieties. Not surprisingly, their Pinot Grigio is a complex, handcrafted wine with a dimension of complexity we don't generally encounter from this workhorse grape. Superb! Sustainable viticulture.
