Sven Enderle and Florian Moll have overachieved with their Pinot Noir in 2022, and their Buntsandstein cuvée, from a tiny plot of 60 year-old vines planted to colored sandstone, offers crunchy red fruits and a massive structure rarely seen in Pinot planted to sandstone. As with all the Enderle & Moll Pinot Noir, about 1/3 is vinified whole cluster, and the wine receives a judicious stay in second-use Domaine Dujac barrels. Bottled by hand; unfined and unfiltered. Biodynamic.
