Winemaker Taylor Stember has taken prime Pinot Blanc from the Martini family's Nutt Road Vineyard on the west side of Seneca Lake and turned it into a bottling of real complexity that's as close to Alsace as any FLX version of this grape will ever be. Rich in texture, just a hint of tender green herbs, aromas and flavors of citrus and more than adequate acidity make this one of the most distinctive non-Riesling local white wines we've encountered in recent years.
