The Serralunga d'Alba Baroli of Guido Porro are among the most fiercely traditional wines of the region. And nothing expresses his style more precisely than the sunny, southeastern-facing cru of Gianetto. Tea rose, tar, camphor, raspberry and anise are all on display in the outstanding 2019 vintage. Although this wine will reward extended aging, we don't expect anyone will be able to resist at least a bottle or two right now.
