This small family domaine, situated in Monforte d'Alba, has made one of the best (and best priced) Barolo normale we've tasted from the great 2021 vintage. Classic aromas and flavors of red fruits, tea rose and spice are here in spades, and it's all expressed with the vintage's cooler, more elegant signature. This is a wine to put down, but it's going to be hard to do it, as the seductive 2021 is bracketed by very hot, dry years.
