We usually don't sell wine by telling you what it isn't...but this IS NOT the bubblegum/banana-reeking swill that has come to be what's expected of Beaujolais Nouveau. Instead, this is properly-ripe Gamay, fermented in open vats, with the fermentation started by indigenous, airborne yeasts. As you might expect, the finished wine is rich, harmonious and alive in a way that makes it a perfect accompaniment to all kinds of holiday meals and merrymaking. In fact, this wine is so good that it can even take a little bottle age!
