The legendary Jean-Marc Morey is now retired, but here's a rare chance to taste his superlative and rare Beaune-Grèves Chardonnay. 2016 was a vintage in which there was a tiny, frost-thinned crop, so there's incredible concentration and length, balanced by the largely hands-off approach of a true master. Just a kiss of oak, plenty of refreshing acidity and an underlying mineral persistence make this one of the sleeper white Burgundies of the vintage.
