If there's a more exciting grower in Burgundy than Julien Cruchandeau, we have yet to make their acquaintance! And his Bouzeron vineyard- entirely propagated from cuttings taken from Aubert de Villaine's 60-to-70 year-old plot- is textbook Aligoté Doré: intensely mineral, sea-salty and citric. One taste will convince you (as it does for us year after year) that this is one of the great value wines in all of Burgundy.
