The Brouilly "Reverdon" cuvée from Thivin hails from great old vines, planted to pink granite that lies at the base of the hill that comprises the Côte de Brouilly slope. As a result, it ages much more like its vaunted uphill neighbor and features a pop of red fruits and a fine, granitic crunch on the finish that's immediately identifiable as Cru Beaujolais in its purity.
