This blend of all five major Bordeaux grapes- Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec- is one of the most balanced wines of its type from anywhere in California. There's a very reasonable 13.8% alcohol, and the use of new oak is judicious and restrained, making this a versatile wine at table and an excellent candidate for aging.
