Domaine du Pegau's wines are in our very top rank when it comes to complete, ageworthy and balanced expressions of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Not surprisingly, they excelled in the 2020 vintage with a Grenache-forward, massively-structured gem of a wine. Not being faint of heart, we snapped up the only 3-liter double magnum on the East Coast, and it awaits some very lucky person who might want it to put away for 10+ years or simply serve it at a special event!
