The Conti family's Poggerino estate is our ideal for Chianti Classico. Located in the commune of Radda, its galestro-rich vineyards sit at high altitude (500 meters), giving the finished wines lift, elegance and length on the palate, a rarity in this zone so heavily affected by the warming climate. The vineyards- mostly Sangiovese, with a tiny plot of Merlot- are tended according to organic and biodynamic principles, making Poggerino one of our first choice wines of the appellation.
