Xavier Vignon's top cuvée of Côtes-du-Rhône is a Grenache-driven affair that's always selected for what appears to be almost overripeness, but in Xavier's capable hands, that lusciousness is counterbalanced with plenty of structure. This wine, a perennial TFWR favorite, frankly outperforms many Châteaneuf-du-Pape, making it an incredible value.
