We're rarely moved by wines from the Primitivo grape, but the 2022 Fatalone captivated us with its aromatic freshness, admirable structure and even some complexity...which is quite the feat, given that the hot, dry, sunny conditions in Puglia resulted in a wine of 16% alcohol. We don't know how partners Pasquale Peter and Rosa Orfino kept this from being a jammy, port-like mess, but we're all in for this lovely wine! Organic.
