The Franconian family estate of Hans Wirsching dates from 1633, and its vineyards at the village of Iphöf yield some of the world's greatest Silvaner: chiseled, citric, dry and intensely long on the palate in great vintages. Of course, the traditional Bocksbeutel packaging is employed with this fiercely authentic wine.
