Oracle Cellars is a collaboration between NYC's Communal Brands and a long-established family winery in Mendocino County. We were taken with the evident old-vine intensity (vineyards planted in the 1990s) and the relaxed, lower-extraction, dialed-down styling of this finely balanced, old school Cabernet that'll remind you of what Cali Cab used to be before superstar winemakers, new barrels and Port-like viscosity came to be the norm.
