The Guibert family, of Mas de Daumas Gassac fame, is the unofficial "first family" of Languedoc wine. They were the first to turn out top-class wines in this sometimes parched and forbidding region, and they have moved from strength to strength through the years. This Grenache Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Terret L'Hérault blend is from 40 year-old vineyards planted to limestone in the hills above the port of Sète and is one of the very best under-$20 wines you'll ever encounter! It's bright, fresh, floral and unencumbered by oak. Organic.
