Séguinot-Bordet has quietly emerged in the last few vintages as an estate that turns out top-notch Chablis at much more reasonable prices than many better-known firms. As you’d expect, their Petit Chablis turns out to be the best value wine in their lineup, as this Chablis-adjacent appellation has no ripeness issues (thanks to global warming) and is often spared the brunt of devastating storms that hit the main slopes of Chablis. Pure, mineral, unoaked Chardonnay doesn’t get any better than this!
