Jacques Carillon's villages-level Puligny is a bright, elegant and pinpoint true-to-terroir wine that hails from a superb Chardonnay plot of 40 year old vines. As such, Carillon gives this cuvée a little lick of new oak- which it handles like a champ- and bottles it after a six month, post-assemblage rest in stainless steel tanks.
